Этот компонент необходим для внутренней катодной защиты водонагревателей и котлов, которые обычно изготавливаются из металла (стали или нержавеющей стали).
Назначение: жертвенный анод (часто из магния или алюминия) защищает металлический бак котла от гальванической коррозии — электрохимического процесса, вызывающего ржавление металлов. Анод более химически активен, чем металл бака, и корродирует вместо него, отсюда и название «жертвенный анод».
Размеры и соединения:
Размер резьбы: 1/2 дюйма (полдюйма). Это размер резьбового соединения, которым анод вкручивается в корпус котла.
Длина: 160 мм (миллиметров). Длина стержня важна для обеспечения достаточной защиты внутренней части бака.
Техническое обслуживание: Аноды со временем изнашиваются. Их необходимо регулярно проверять и заменять при значительном износе, чтобы сохранить гарантию и продлить срок службы бака.
