Il componente di tenuta principale per le pompe ACB 431 e ACB 432 è la tenuta meccanica (designata anche con un riferimento specifico tipo RACB, adatta per la serie 400).
Funzione: La tenuta sigilla dinamicamente l'albero della pompa nel punto in cui attraversa il corpo pompa, impedendo così la fuoriuscita del fluido pompato (acqua di mare, acqua dolce, gasolio).
Caratteristiche tecniche:
- Poiché queste pompe sono più potenti dei modelli della serie 300, la tenuta è dimensionata per velocità e pressioni di esercizio più elevate.
- È realizzata con materiali resistenti all'usura e alla corrosione (facce di attrito in ceramica/carbonio o SiC e tenute secondarie in elastomero resistente).
- Ruolo della serie ACB: Le pompe ACB hanno eccezionali capacità autoadescanti. Una tenuta meccanica in buone condizioni è essenziale per mantenere queste prestazioni, poiché anche una piccola perdita d'aria può compromettere l'adescamento.
Il kit di sostituzione completo per questi modelli includerà la tenuta meccanica, nonché gli O-ring e le guarnizioni necessari per sigillare tutte le interfacce statiche tra il corpo della pompa e gli alloggiamenti.
