It is perfectly suited for hookups on busbars, charge separators, battery banks, alternators, or grounding strips.
Its high-grade electrical PVC sleeve delivers reliable insulation inside sheltered onboard spaces (continuous thermal rating up to 75°C). Internally, the connection barrel is crafted from tinned electrolytic copper. Tin plating is vital for marine applications: it seals the copper core against salt-air oxidation, eliminating corrosion and ensuring maximum electrical conductivity over time. The built-in inner copper sleeve allows for a robust double-crimp configuration over both the wire strands and the insulation jacket.
