The MVI20 stator is the replacement element for the smallest helical screw pump in Gianneschi's MVI series. These pumps are positive displacement volumetric units designed for the efficient evacuation and transfer of black water, gray water, and other charged or viscous fluids on board boats.
Pump Design: In the MVI20 pump, the rotor (stainless steel screw) rotates inside this stator, creating the self-priming capacity and generating the pressure necessary to transfer fluids.
Material: The stator is made of rubber (a high-quality elastomer, such as NBR or Buna). This material ensures an excellent seal around the rotor and offers high resistance to wear caused by abrasive fluids.
Function: As a major wear part, the MVI20 stator must be replaced as soon as the pump's efficiency (flow rate or pressure) decreases. Its replacement is crucial to restore the unit's performance and reliability.
