The MV64 stator is a critical spare part for Gianneschi MV64 series positive displacement helical screw pumps. These pumps, primarily used in the marine sector (yachts, ships) for transferring wastewater, graywater, or thick fluids, depend directly on the condition of their stator to ensure their performance.
Pump type: Progressive cavity pump (helical screw). The stator is the fixed chamber in which the rotor rotates.
Material: It is made of elastomer (rubber), usually NBR (Buna). This flexible material creates a perfect seal around the rotating rotor.
Function: The stator is a wearing part that is subject to abrasion from the fluids being transferred. It is essential for self-priming and for maintaining the pump's flow rate and pressure. Replacing it is a standard maintenance procedure to restore the MV64 pump to its original performance.
