The Gianneschi C402 RD (230V AC) is a compact and robust centrifugal fan designed for ships requiring efficient air management through ducted systems. With a 0.25 kW motor, it outperforms similarly sized axial fans in its ability to maintain a dynamic flow rate (from 18 to 51 m³/min) despite the resistance of ducts or filters. Its RD (Right-Hand Rotation) configuration makes it a standard in the marine industry for cooling technical areas.
The Centrifugal Advantage: Overcoming System Resistance
The C402 RD model is specifically designed for installations where air must travel through complex paths (bends, narrow ducts, separators). Where a conventional fan would lose efficiency, this centrifugal unit maintains sufficient pressure to ensure optimal air exchange. Its versatile design allows it to operate in any position, easily fitting behind a bulkhead, under a suspended ceiling, or directly into the engine room.
Precise Mounting and Circular Connection
Gianneschi designed this blower for seamless integration without airflow loss. The C402 RD offers the option of adding counter flanges, ensuring a perfectly airtight connection to standard circular ventilation ducts. This airtight seal is key to delivering the full airflow to its destination without pressure loss in adjacent compartments.
Marine Durability and 230V Safety
Designed for continuous operation, this fan handles clean or slightly dusty airflows at temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C. Its 230V AC motor guarantees reliability for extended duty cycles. For hazardous environments (fuel vapors or battery rooms), versions with spark-proof motors are available on request for maximum operational safety.
